Biography Ismael Vera Rodriguez graduated from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico as a Geophysicist Engineer. After graduation he worked for four years in Schumberger as Borehole Geophysicist. His work experience includes vertical seismic profile and microseismic processing. In 2008, Ismael started postgraduate studies at the University of Alberta. From the summer of 2010 and until 2012, he also worked for Pinnacle/Halliburton as a student intern. After a succesful defence of his PhD thesis in 2012, Ismael moved to the UK where he continued with his research at Schlumberger Gould Research Centre.
